YOUR SUPPORT WILL BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!
Please come along and have a fun afternoon whilst supporting the Friendly Society, the Church and other organisations. As part of the Friendly Society Village Day celebrations, the Church will be holding their fete. This is the main fund raiser we have during the year and we are raising money to redecorate the inside of the church and to make some changes.

CAKE COMPETION
For all you “Bake Off” fans, a chance to enter a cake Competition. All entries must follow the recipes below so that the judging can be done fairly and entries should be brought to the Church Tent at 1.15 pm. If you do not want your cake to be sold, please tell the person on the stall, otherwise, all cakes will be sold.
VICTORIA SANDWICH – Anyone over 12 years of Age
RECIPE *140g Butter *140g Caster Sugar *2 Eggs
*140g Plain Flour *1tsp Baking Powder *1-2 teaspoon Milk
Filling – 2-3 tablespoons Raspberry or Strawberry Jam
No Decoration 180C/160C Fan/No. 4 Gas Bake – 20 mins
4 FAIRY CAKES – 11 years and under
RECIPE *100g Butter *100g Caster Sugar *2 Eggs
*100g Self Raising Flour *2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
Decoration – Coronation themed topping of your choice
170C/150C Fan/No. 3 Gas Bake – 15-20 mins
Donations for stalls may be left in the Church from Friday, 5th June to Friday 9th .
Please take any cooked food to Linda Mogford at The Old Stores, Westbury on the 9th June or bring to the field on the day.
