There will be a Strawberry Line working party between Westbury sub Mendip and Easton starting at Furlong Farm Crossing 10am – 1pm led by Mick F.

What seemed like an easy job, taking the old tree guards off the hedging that is now entering its third summer, proved a slower task than envisaged so there is at least another days work there. Although we expect Goldings to do most of the work moving stone from the field & placing over the new pipe there will probably be a lot of tidying up to do.

If you’d like to help but can’t make specific dates have a word with Mick F & we can work out a task you can do on your own.

Watch out for further details of additional volunteer sessions between Axbridge and the approaches to Wells, within the Cheddar Valley Branch’s area of responsibility.
