Job Opportunity: Clerk to the Parish Council

Our previous local Clerk, Mark Smith, would also be very happy to talk through a typical month’s activities, from one Parish Council meeting to the next. There is tremendous variety from month to month, but always within a clearly defined structure. This job is a great way to get to know our community.

Full training would be provided by the Somerset Association of Local Councils, funded by the Parish Council.

The post is for six hours per week, at an hourly rate dependant on qualifications and experience, and based on the national pay scale LC1, currently between £9.39 and £11.77 per hour. The start date is 1st Aug 2019.
